Paddock list will be posted late tonight so you have it for tomorrow morning.
Yodeler races in the 9th and final race on the card. The race distance is 6 furlongs (a 1/2 furlong shorter than his last race), and he will break from post 2 in a field of 7. The distance is shorter than we’d like, but he is feeling extremely good and is telling us he’d like to run. Rather than wait and hope for a 6 1/2 race to come up, Sharon opted to enter and run.
Entries are here.
A reminder that Emerald Racing Club tickets will be left at the Will Call gate for your guests under Emerald Racing Club.
Saturday is the first day of the EmD 3-on-3 basketball tournament. The North Preferred Parking Lot will be filled with basketball courts. Plan a little extra time to find your parking.
And if you get a chance take a stroll through the parking lots to watch the tournament. Teams range from elementary school kids up to seniors! It’s pretty impressive to watch and the event is modeled after Spokane’s Hoopfest.
I sent an email to those of you that RSVP’d. We had six spots open up with cancellations so if you’d like to add yourself last minute, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. The bus will be back in time for the afternoon’s races.
A reminder that there are no barn visits on race days. Just shoot an email any time you’d like to visit to email@example.com and we’ll clear with Sharon. Visits are before 1 pm on any day (except Tuesdays and race days).
See you Saturday!
